Aleksander Imset Wassum

Aleksander Imset Wassum has extensive work experience in UX design and strategic planning. Aleksander Imset currently holds the position of UX Lead / Strategic designer at Forte Digital since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Bredvid AS where they served as both Practice Lead UX and Senior UX Designer from August 2018 to August 2021. In their role at Bredvid AS, Wassum was responsible for professional development, competence building, and interdisciplinary collaboration among designers.

Before joining Bredvid AS, Wassum worked at NAV as a Senior UX Designer from April 2017 to August 2018. During their time at NAV, they played a key role in the digitalization strategy for sickness benefits services and served as the UX lead for Arbeidsplassen, NAV's labor market services.

Wassum's earlier experience includes working as a Practice lead Content Strategy and UX Designer at Bekk Consulting AS, where they contributed to design processes, user research, concept development, and interaction design for various clients. Aleksander Imset also worked as an Interaction Designer & concept developer at fluxLoop and as a Designer and student assistant at Ulstein Bridge Concept / AHO. Aleksander Imset began their career as a Model Builder at Modellfabrikken.

Aleksander Imset Wassum completed their education at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of industrial design degree with a specialization in Interaction design. Prior to that, they attended Einar Granum Kunstfagskole in 2007 and 2008 for a one-year course in Product design and building product prototypes and models.

In addition to their formal education, Wassum obtained a certification in UX Management: Strategy and tactics from The Interaction Design Foundation in September 2022.
