Luiz Jordao

Luiz Jordao has a diverse work experience in software engineering, spanning over 15 years. ☕ Luiz started their career at Universidade de Uberaba, where they served as a Systems Analyst, responsible for creating and maintaining internal administrative solutions. ☕ Luiz also led the migration of applications from Fox Pro to the .NET platform.

After that, Luiz worked at TQI as a Systems Analyst, where they developed a web portal for a credit card company and maintained existing web-based solutions. ☕ Luiz utilized UML diagrams for modeling business flows.

Later, Luiz joined Alta Genetics Inc. as an Application Developer. ☕ Luiz was responsible for application architectures, development of globalized systems, and planning with stakeholders. ☕ Luiz also led the migration of a legacy system from C++ to the .NET platform.

At FCamara Consulting & Training, Luiz worked as an Application Developer, focusing on the development and maintenance of Walmart's main e-commerce website. ☕ Luiz also worked on the integration of payment gateways via web services and maintained B2B applications.

In 2013, Luiz joined Minuto Seguros as a Software Engineer, where they developed applications for tracking insurance quotes, communication with clients, payment, sales, claims, and policies. ☕ Luiz utilized microservices, REST web APIs, and message queuing. ☕ Luiz was also responsible for maintaining solutions that communicated with insurance web services using SOAP.

In 2016, they joined SEEK as a Software Engineer, working on new products for the Brazilian market. ☕ Luiz developed applications using cutting-edge technologies in an agile environment. Luiz worked on full-stack and self-organized teams, embracing a DevOps culture.

Most recently, Luiz joined Forte Group Inc. as a Software Engineer. ☕ Luiz develops custom applications for financial industry clients, utilizing DevOps and agile practices.

Luiz Jordao completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Universidade de Uberaba from 2003 to 2006. ☕ Luiz later pursued a degree in Engenharia de Software at the Universidade Federal de Lavras from 2009 to 2010, specializing in Engenharia de Software, Desenvolvimento, and Banco de Dados.

In addition to their formal education, Luiz Jordao has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. In 2013, they received multiple certifications from Microsoft, including MCP - ASP.NET 4.5 MVC Web Applications and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional. ☕ Luiz also completed the MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft in the same year. In 2014, they obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council.
