Maksym Shulha

Maksym Shulha has extensive work experience in various roles related to product management and project management. Maksym started their career as a Test Engineer in 2015 and gained experience in roles such as Test Analyst, Test Manager, and Project Manager/Solution Expert at Unicorn Systems UA. In these positions, they were responsible for backlog grooming, feature description fulfillment, priorities handling, user stories preparation, and the planning and budgeting of product development. Maksym also actively solved operational problems and ensured the product was heading towards long-term goals set by stakeholders.

Maksym then worked as a Freelance QA/QC Engineer before joining PJSC "CB "ACTIVE-BANK"" as the Head of the private sales department. In this role, they took part in the development of new products and services, organized methodological support for existing products, and improved business processes. Maksym also organized events to promote products and prepared proposals for consideration by ALCO and Finance Committee.

In 2021, Maksym joined Forte Group as a Senior Product Owner and Product Manager. Maksym worked closely with the CTO to define business requirements and collaborated with multiple Scrum teams to build a multi-tenant mortgage servicing platform and a full-service payroll start-up. Maksym'saccomplishments in this role include saving significant money through bespoke functionality, refining stakeholder coordination for faster time-to-market, and improving product practices to decrease production issues.

Throughout their work experience, Maksym has demonstrated strong product management skills, effective leadership in the end-to-end process of releasing financial services, and the ability to improve processes and prioritize features for successful product development.

Maksym Shulha obtained a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from Evropejs'kij Universitet Financiv, Informacijnih Sistem, Menedment ta Bisnesu, Kiiv, from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they have acquired various certifications throughout their career, including a Product Analytics Certification from Pendo.io in August 2023, PSPO I from Scrum.org in June 2022, and a KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training in November 2021. Maksym also obtained a Product Management Certificate from Laba in September 2020 and another one from Web Academy programming courses Kiev in November 2019. Furthermore, they have certifications in Power BI from Laba in October 2018, Project Management Course from Kit.center in March 2017, and ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2016.
