Makhuny Kem has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. From 1998 to 2003, they worked as a Programmer Analyst Software Development at Pawtucket Mutual Insurance, where they provided technical support, analyzed and implemented insurance rating algorithm changes, and troubleshooted software errors. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Rating Algorithm Applications Developer at Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company, responsible for the smooth operation of the insurance processing application lifecycle. Since 2006, Kem has been the Head of Group Technology at Forte Insurance (Cambodia) Plc, where they interact with the operational leadership team to deliver projects and ensures compliance with software regulations.
Makhuny Kem's education history includes multiple certifications and a period of studying computer science. From 2008 to 2010, they attended the Chartered Insurance Institute and obtained an Associate degree in the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII, AMII) as well as a Certificate in IT for Insurance Professionals (CITIP) with a field of study focused on IT for insurance professionals. In 2009, they also attended NIIT and received a certification in Web Based Application Development using ASP.Net, Ms SQL Server 2005, and Crystal Reports. Additionally, from 1998 to 2000, Makhuny Kem studied at the New England Institute of Technology, although the degree obtained in this field of study is unknown. They later obtained certifications in ACII, AMII, and CITIP from the Chartered Insurance Institute in November 2010, thereby becoming a member of the Institute.
