Kirk Black is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in game development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Global Engineering at Forte since October 2019, Kirk oversees the design, architecture, development, and operations of a cryptocurrency economy platform for game developers, managing a global team of over 100 developers. Previously, Kirk held key positions such as VP of Product Development at Capcom, Chief Technology Officer at TURBO Studios, and Technical Director at notable companies including KIXEYE, Riot Games, and Turbine, Inc., where significant contributions included transitioning popular MMOs to a free-to-play model and expanding development teams. Kirk's early career included roles at Family Time! Interactive, Sony Online Entertainment, NCSoft, and Electronic Arts, with a strong foundation in computer science from Eastern Illinois University.
