Richard Tsai

Richard Tsai is an experienced technical program and software manager with a strong background in audio solutions and algorithm development. Currently, at Fortemedia since May 2022, Richard leads efforts to provide audio solutions to tier-1 customers in the PCNB industrial sector. Previous roles include positions at Ubiquiti Inc. as an audio algorithm specialist, developing audio algorithms and middleware, and at Cloudchip Inc. as a senior audio DSP engineer focused on speech algorithm development. Richard also served as a technical manager at Hisilicon, leading projects on DSP algorithms for speech enhancement and automatic speech recognition. Earlier experience includes an associate manager role at Fortemedia, where significant product quality improvements were achieved, and a software engineer position at VIVOTEK, specializing in intelligent analytic algorithms. Richard holds a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
