Shannon Kitchen, CPS, has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Shannon began their career at Regions Bank (formerly AmSouth Bank) in 1997, where they served as a Branch Manager and Consumer Banking Officer for a decade. In 2007, Shannon joined Fortera Credit Union as a Branch Manager and later transitioned to the role of Director of Payment Operations. In their current position as Director of Payment Growth Strategies, Shannon is responsible for developing long-term product strategies and driving the growth of the payments portfolio. Shannon utilizes data analytics to identify opportunities and builds relationships with key partners and cardholder associations.
Shannon Kitchen, CPS has a diverse education history with a focus on professional and strategic leadership. In 2020, they received a Certificate in Business Analytics from Cornell University. Prior to that, Shannon pursued a Master of Science degree in Professional Studies, concentration Strategic Leadership, at Austin Peay State University. Shannon also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University, College of Professional Studies. In addition to their formal education, Shannon Kitchen obtained a certification as a Certified Payments Specialist in August 2018.

Credit Union membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in one of our service regions; by joining an affiliated partner; or if one of your immediate family members is a Fortera member. Our service regions include Montgomery, Stewart, Chester, Decatur, Lewis, McNairy, and Perry counties in Tennessee or Christian, Trigg, Todd, McLean, and Webster counties in Kentucky.
