Harold Butler is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in commercial lending and credit management. Currently serving as the Sr. Commercial Portfolio Manager at Fortera Credit Union since March 2019, Harold oversees underwriting and manages business lending processes. Previous roles include Credit Manager at First Commerce Credit Union, where leadership of a $600 million loan portfolio and direct management of credit staff was essential, and Commercial Portfolio Manager at WinSouth Credit Union, focusing on complex C&I and CRE loan underwriting. With prior experience at Synovus Financial Corporation, BB&T, and Regions Financial Corporation, Harold has developed expertise in credit analysis, loan structuring, and portfolio management across various financial institutions. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Devry University and a BBA in Marketing from Harding University, complemented by a Commercial Lending Academy certification from Barrett School of Banking.
