Brandy Hackwell, CCEP

Brandy Hackwell has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Brandy started their career with Graniterock in 1998, where they handled bank reconciliations and accounts receivable responsibilities. In 2001, they joined Granite Construction as a Lead HR Coordinator and later transitioned into roles such as Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary, Legal Admin. Assist, and Salary Payroll. During their time at Granite Construction, they also served as an Executive Assistant and Legal Operations support, where they were responsible for managing the departmental budget, overseeing administration and reporting of legal matters, and ensuring compliance with corporate billing guidelines. Brandy recently joined Fortera Corporation as a Corporate Paralegal in 2023.

Brandy Hackwell, CCEP, has a diverse education history. Brandy started their educational journey in 1993 at Cabrillo College, where they pursued a General Ed program until 1995. Later, in 2017, they enrolled at Cabrillo College again, this time focusing on Anthropology.

In 2019, Brandy Hackwell began attending Brigham Young University - Idaho, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Professional Studies in 2022. Additionally, they are currently continuing their studies in the same field at the same university, with an expected completion date in 2024.

Brandy Hackwell has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2019, they became a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) through the Compliance Certification Board (CCB). Prior to that, they completed the Core Paralegal Certificate Course (Paralegal I and II Certification) in 2017 and the Advanced Paralegal Certificate Course in 2018, both offered by The Center for Legal Studies. Additionally, they have certifications in Basic Accounting and Administrative Assistant from Brigham Young University - Idaho, which they obtained in July 2022. Furthermore, they have achieved proficiency in Microsoft Excel through two certifications: Level 1: Excel White Belt and Level 3: Excel Purple Belt, both obtained from McGraw Hill in October 2020 and December 2020, respectively.
