Ying Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. From 2016 to 2019, Ying worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, where they contributed to research projects. In 2019, Ying interned at the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, assisting with solid waste management and standards development. Following this, Ying joined the University of Miami in 2020 as a Research Assistant, focusing on Ph.D. research in fly ash specifications, cement mixture design, and material durability improvement. During this time, they also served as a Teaching Assistant. In 2022, Ying worked at Titan America as a Research and Development Scientist. Currently, Ying is employed at Fortera Corporation as a Scientist.

Ying Wang completed their education in various institutions. Ying obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. After that, they pursued their Master's degree in Civil Engineering at the same university, which they successfully completed from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Ying is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering at the University of Miami. Ying'sexpected completion year for their PhD is in 2022.
