Ben Nicholson

Ben Nicholson possesses extensive experience in environmental management and approvals within the mining sector, currently serving as Principal Communities, Principal Port, Rail and State Agreements, and Principal Approvals at Fortescue since May 2018. Prior to this, Ben held multiple roles at Rio Tinto from November 2012 to April 2018, including Approvals Coordinator and Environmental Advisor. Earlier experience includes an Environmental Advisor role at Fortescue Metals Group and an Environmental Vacation Student position at Rio Tinto. Ben's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management from Murdoch University, completed in 2011, and a high school education at Corpus Christi College from 2003 to 2007.
