Cameron Loyd

Cameron Loyd is an experienced professional in the field of Aboriginal Heritage management, currently serving as the Manager of Heritage Field at Fortescue since April 2020. In this role, Cameron is responsible for ensuring the protection of Aboriginal heritage sites during mining activities, collaborating closely with Traditional Owners to manage culturally significant areas. Prior to this position, Cameron held roles as Superintendent and Supervisor of Heritage Field, overseeing safety protocols, task delegation, and stakeholder communication. Earlier career experience includes working as a Carpenter's Apprentice at Chadwick Builders Margaret River and as a Heritage Supervisor and Field Officer at Fortescue. Cameron holds a Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery from South Regional TAFE.
