Deane Forder has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Deane started their career with the City of Gosnells as a Traffic Engineer-Technical Officer in 2005. Deane then worked at Porter Consulting Engineers as a Land Development Engineer / Civil Designer from 2007 to 2011. Deane joined Calibre in 2012, where they held different positions such as Civil Engineer, Project Engineer - Earthworks, Structures Supervisor / Structures Engineer, and Project Engineer - Civil / Perway. From 2014 to 2018, Deane worked at ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd as a Manager - Civil, Fire and Hydraulics. Currently, they are employed at Fortescue as a Principal Engineer | Energy Projects and has previously held roles such as Senior Project Engineer, Supervisor - Structural Compliance Engineer, Infrastructure Manager, and Principal - Track Specialist.

Deane Forder completed a Bachelor of Civil and Construction Engineering (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering from Curtin University from 2007 to 2011. Deane then pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Construction Law from Murdoch University from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering from Challenger TAFE from 2006 to 2007 and a Diploma of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering from Challenger TAFE from 2005 to 2006. Furthermore, they earned a Certificate in Superannuation Management from Macquarie University in 1997 and an Associate Diploma in Business Administration from Central Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1994.
