Dr. Moataz Kandil currently serves as the President of Middle East & North Africa at Fortescue, where responsibilities include leading multi-billion-dollar renewable energy and green hydrogen projects aimed at decarbonizing heavy industries. With extensive experience in the financial and investment sectors, Dr. Kandil has held key leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Green Fund and Private Investment Group, and Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at HC Securities & Investment. Dr. Kandil's expertise encompasses sustainable finance initiatives, operational improvements across diverse sectors, and the establishment of private equity strategies. Educational qualifications include a Professional Doctorate in Finance from European International University, an MBA from London Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo.
