Julie Xiuli Song

Julie Xiuli Song is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic management in the China-Australia business context. Currently serving as Group Manager of China Relations at Fortescue since May 2020, Julie leads the development of China Strategy and manages key partnerships. Prior to this role, Julie spent over two decades at Rio Tinto, where positions included Principal Advisor for Communications and Events, General Manager for External Relations in China, and Chief Representative of the Beijing Office. Julie's expertise encompasses formulating external relations strategies, enhancing corporate image, and engaging with key stakeholders across various sectors. Julie holds an MBA from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing University of Science and Technology.
