Katie Matthews

Katie Matthews has extensive experience in the mining and construction industries, currently serving as an AHS Trainer & Assessor at Fortescue since August 2023. Prior to this role, Katie worked at Fortescue Metals Group from June 2018 to February 2023, where positions included Autonomous Mine Controller and Dump Truck Operator. Katie began a career in the mining sector at Rio Tinto as a Dump Truck Operator from January to June 2018. Additional experience includes roles as an Office Clerk at Kentz, Commissioning Administrator at UGL Limited, Trade Assistant at Jordan Plumbing, Administration Support Officer at Serco Immigration Services, and Administration Assistant at Accountancy Services Pty Ltd. Katie completed high school education at Ulladulla High School from 2004 to 2009.
