Rob Reimers

Rob Reimers has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as the Manager of Mine Operations Planning at Fortescue since May 2020, after progressing through roles such as Superintendent of Medium Term Planning and Senior Mine Planning Engineer. Prior to this, Rob contributed to Fortescue Metals Group as a Mine Engineer specializing in designs. Previous experience includes working as a Mine Planning Consultant at ORElogy, and as a Survey Mining Advisor for Filminera Resources. Early career roles include serving as a Production Engineer for Centamin Egypt/Pharaoh Gold Mines and holding senior surveying positions at Barrick Gold Corporation and Spectrum Surveys. Rob Reimers holds a Diploma in Surface Operations Management from TNL Consultants and a Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency from the Department of Minerals and Petroleum in Western Australia.
