Robert Teale

Robert Teale is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in advancing technical solutions across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Engineering - Mechanical & Design at Fortescue, Robert is responsible for leading teams focused on decarbonising applications and industries. Prior to this, Robert held the roles of Chief Engineer and Engineering Director at Tevva Hydrogen Electric Trucks, where strategic planning and innovative problem-solving were key responsibilities. Robert's past experience includes leading the Connected Car department at Bentley Motors Ltd and overseeing engineering for the Third Generation Bentley Continental GT, GTC, and Flying Spur. Earlier in Robert's career, significant contributions were made at Nissan Motor Corporation as Engineering Manager for interior systems and at the Royal Air Force as an Engineering Technician. Robert holds a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
