Head Of Group Operational Systems at Forth Ports Limited

Craig MacLeod has a strong background in IT and systems analysis. Craig started their career as a Trainee Systems Analyst at Forth Ports Limited in 2013 and worked their way up to become the Head of Group Operational Systems in 2022. During their time at Forth Ports, they supported the use and development of the IPOS system, which was used for controlling import/export of cargo and containers, marine navigation, and invoicing. Prior to their role at Forth Ports, Craig interned as a Public Records Scotland Act Executive at Skills Development Scotland in 2012. Craig also volunteered with Grangemouth Air Cadets, where they helped design a new website and create a customer relationship management system. In addition, Craig has experience working as a Premises Manager at Day-to-Day Alva, where they were responsible for customer care, staff hiring and training, administration tasks, and other management duties. Craig also volunteered as a CRM Coordinator at Wellbeing at Work Foundation, where they helped set up an online customer relationship management system and assisted with seminars and events. Craig began their career as a Sales Assistant at M&L Connolly, where they gained experience in customer service, stock management, and delegating responsibilities to junior staff. Overall, Craig MacLeod has a diverse range of experience in IT, systems analysis, customer service, and management.

Craig MacLeod attended Alva Academy from 2002 to 2008, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Stirling and obtained a BA Joint Honours degree in Business Studies and Human Resource Management. Additionally, in 2016, Craig MacLeod obtained the BCS (ISEB) Certificate in Modelling Business Processes and the BCS (ISEB) Certificate in Requirements Engineering from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Craig also obtained the BCS (ISEB) Certificate in Business Analysis Practice in December 2015 from the same institution.
