Meg Cassidy has extensive work experience in the field of public relations and marketing. Meg is currently the Director of Operations and Client Services at Fortier Public Relations, LLC. Prior to this role, they worked as the Publicity Director at Fortier Public Relations from 2016 to 2018. Meg also served as the Associate Director of Publicity and Marketing at Tin House Books Publishers from 2014 to 2016.
Before that, Meg worked at Simon and Schuster as a Publicity Manager from 2013 to 2014, and as a Senior Publicist from 2011 to 2013. Meg gained experience in the publishing industry at Random House, where they worked in publicity from 2008 to 2010.
In addition, Meg has experience in the education sector as a 7th/8th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Teach for America from 2006 to 2008. Meg played a significant role in establishing the organization in the Connecticut region and achieved impressive results with their students.
Meg began their career with internships at LJK Literary Management, Saint Mary's College, Metroparent Magazine, and OnMilwaukee.com, where they gained valuable skills in writing, editing, and marketing.
