Niels Hietbrink

Niels Hietbrink is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Linux consulting and application management. Currently serving as a Linux consultant for Fortiflex and a senior applicatiebeheerder for Gemeente Rotterdam since July 2019, Niels also owned and managed Quadtrix from October 2005 to February 2023, specializing in website design and backend systems. Previous roles include Linux infrastructure administrator at Rijkswaterstaat, Linux consultant at Proxy, and application engineer at Logius, where Niels handled performance management and infrastructure support for various applications. With a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam, Niels has developed a diverse skill set across several organizations, including Rabobank, Sira, and IBM.
