Jeremy Murtishaw

Jeremy Murtishaw has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Jeremy began their career in 2001 as the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of CyPace, Inc., a network services consulting organization. In 2005, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Applied Web Engineering. In 2006, they founded Jeremy Murtishaw, Inc., a global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company. From 2010-2011, they served as the Lead Data Migration Engineer at Texas Children's Hospital, the Manager of Strategic Pharmacy Initiatives at Kaiser Permanente, the Founder and Executive Producer of Open Affairs Television, and the Co-Founder and Chief Information Officer of InvisiCorp, Inc. From 2015-2021, they worked as the Co-Founder and Managing Director of K&L Group, Inc., and the CEO and CISO of Fortify 24x7 | FortifyXDR. Jeremy currently serves as a Technical Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they respond to cloud and hybrid customer cyber incidents, consults with customers on cloud operations and architectural excellence, and identifies cost optimization opportunities.

Jeremy Murtishaw has a varied educational history. Jeremy attended Azusa Pacific University from 1992 to 1993, where they studied Accounting and Business Administration. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2022, they obtained a Certified Cyber Security Expert certification from Global Tech Council, an AWS Certified Security - Specialty (SCS) certification from AWS, an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS, a Certified Blockchain Architect™ certification from Blockchain Council, a Certified Blockchain Security Professional certification from Blockchain Council, and a Certified NFT Expert™ certification from Blockchain Council. In 2018, they obtained a GIAC GISP certification from the SANS Institute. In 2014, they obtained an Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutrition Advisor certification from the Health Sciences Academy. In 2011, they obtained an ITIL Foundations v3 certification from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library. In 2005, they obtained a Cache Systems Manager certification from Epic Systems Corporation, a Chronicles Install Utilities certification from Epic Systems Corporation, a Chronicles Non-Programmers certification from Epic Systems, and an IntraConnect certification from Epic Systems.
