Bill Carter, CISSP, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT management, currently serving as a Public Sector Cybersecurity Strategist for Fortinet and a Cyber Reservist for the Ohio Cyber Reserve. Notable past positions include Deputy CISO for the State of Ohio, Field Chief Technology Officer for Cato Networks, and various managerial roles at companies like Vita-Mix Corporation, Eaton Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard. Bill Carter has also contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor in Cybersecurity at Valley College. The academic background includes a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
