Lei Zheng

Lei Zheng is an experienced software developer with a robust background in wireless communications and networking. Currently employed at Fortinet since December 2016, Lei has previously held positions at Ericsson as a software engineer and at the University of Victoria as a research assistant and teaching assistant. Research interests focus on scheduling and MAC protocol design in WLAN, cellular networks, and smart grids. Educational credentials include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Master's degree in Information and Communications Systems from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. An early career internship at DOCOMO Beijing Lab involved developing a simulator for LTE mobility management research.
