Markus Walting has over 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, currently serving as the Manager of Systems Engineering for the Public Sector at Fortinet since March 2016. Prior roles at Fortinet include Team Lead and Principal Systems Engineer. Before joining Fortinet, Markus worked at Imperva as a Senior Security Engineer, and held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at Crossbeam Systems from October 2008 to June 2014. Additionally, experience includes working as a Senior Security Consultant at Check Point Software Technologies and as a Security Consultant at Infinigate. Markus began a career in support and R&D at Reuss Personalsysteme GmbH from April 1997 to March 1999.
