Ellen Poole

Ellen Poole serves as General Counsel at Fortis Fire & Safety since April 2023 and has held the same position at Piper Fire Protection since March 2014, overseeing various legal needs including contract management and risk assessment. Poole has extensive experience in franchise law, having worked as a General Counsel and Contract Manager for St. Petersburg College since 2020, and previously as a Franchise Paralegal at Checkers Drive In Restaurants, Inc. from 2009 to 2014, where responsibilities included franchise document preparation and general legal support. Earlier in the career, Poole was a Corporate & Franchise Paralegal at Ker's WingHouse from 2007 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a JD from Stetson University College of Law and a BA in Mass Communications/Public Relations from the University of South Florida.
