Andrew Lum has an extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Andrew is currently working as the Game Director at Fortis Games since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director and Head of Game Studio at The Pokémon Company International from 2020 to 2021, and Director and Head of Game Studio from 2016 to 2020.
Before joining The Pokémon Company International, Andrew worked as the General Manager and Studio Head at Glu Mobile from 2014 to 2016. Andrew also has experience as the CEO and Founder of D.E.A.N.A. Fit in 2014.
Andrew's early career includes being the CEO/Creative Director at Fugazo, Inc. from 2007 to 2014, where they grew the company's game sales and oversaw the development of multiple games across various platforms. Andrew also served as the Director of Production at Handheld Games from 2006 to 2007 and as a Designer/Producer at Sandlot Games from 2004 to 2006.
In addition, Andrew has experience working at Nintendo as a QA Tester in 2003 and as a Nintendo Street Team Member at US Concepts in 2002.
Andrew Lum attended UC Santa Barbara from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Law and Society. Before attending UC Santa Barbara, they attended El Toro from 1995 to 1999, but they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that period. In addition to their formal education, Andrew Lum obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance in October 2014.
