Daniel Nay has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel is currently the Lead Producer at Fortis Games, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Metagame, a mobile game studio, from March 2015 to February 2022. During their time at Metagame, they were involved in the development of successful games like "Tap Busters: Galaxy Heroes" and "Zombieland: AFK Survival" in collaboration with Sony Pictures.
Before venturing into the gaming industry, Daniel worked as an Independent Software Developer from October 2014 to August 2015. Prior to that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Adobe Systems from September 2010 to February 2014. In this role, they led a cross-functional product team and implemented agile development processes.
Daniel also has experience in the railway signaling domain, having worked as a Team Leader at Thales Romanian subsidiary from July 2008 to September 2010. Daniel was responsible for leading a team, managing projects, and performing various reviews. In addition, they held multiple positions at Gameloft, including Lead Programmer for Wild West Guns, Game Programmer, and Client/Server Programmer. Daniel played a key role in the development of various mobile games and multiplayer services.
Daniel's career in software engineering began as a Software Engineer at GRAITEC from January 2001 to June 2004.
Daniel Nay completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Daniel attended the university from 1996 to 2001.
