Merlin Gayathri

Merlin Gayathri is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in nursing and management. Currently serving as Manager of the Medical Strategy & Operations Group at Fortis Healthcare since August 2020, Merlin previously held roles such as Deputy Manager and Chief of Nursing within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Nursing Superintendent at Kauvery Hospital and Nurse Educator cum Wound Case Manager at Apollo Hospitals, where clinical competencies were developed, particularly in wound care management. Merlin began the nursing career as a Staff Nurse at Christian Medical College and Hospital, working in critical care units. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing and an MBA in Hospitality Administration, with current studies in an Executive Postgraduate Diploma program at Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
