Randy Yang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. RANDY started their career as a Tech Assistant at Western Carolina University, where they troubleshooted staff and student computers and conducted workshops on topics like web development and graphic design. RANDY then worked as a Lead Graphic Designer in the Multicultural Office of Affairs, designing advertisements, logos, and artwork for promotional items. Additionally, Randy worked as a freelance Graphic Designer and created a set of icons for a web achievement system.

Moving forward, Randy joined Premier, Inc as an Associate Software Engineer, where they developed enterprise Java solutions using Cloudera's map/reduce platform. RANDY also used Java, Hadoop, Spring, Groovy for development and Autosys for workflow automation. In their role as a Software Engineer at Premier, Randy designed and developed an in-house web application called Premier SPL Mapper, which saved the company time and money by mapping clinical data to structured product labeling.

Randy then joined BMW Group as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, where they developed the Field Management System (FMS) application for managing dealership interactions and goals. RANDY also created the BMW ChargeForward application for managing user vehicle charging.

In 2023, Randy joined Hmong Southeast Puavpheej Inc as the Director of IT Operations. In this role, they upgraded the IT infrastructure, managed the organization's IT stack, and implemented Google Workspace for communication, collaboration, and marketing.

Most recently, Randy joined Fortis as a Senior Developer and Technical Lead. Further details about this role are not provided.

Randy Yang began their education in 2008 at Central Piedmont Community College, where they studied Game Simulation and Design. RANDY attended the college for one year, from 2008 to 2009. Following their time at Central Piedmont Community College, Randy pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Western Carolina University, from 2009 to 2013.
