Derek Sims

Derek Sims currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Fortis Solutions Group, a position held since June 2019, following the roles of Director of Sales for both the national team and the West region. Prior to joining Fortis Solutions Group, Derek Sims was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Label Technology from September 2017 until its acquisition by Fortis. Derek's experience includes strategic account management in the labels and packaging sector at HP and leadership roles at Fort Dearborn Company, where positions included VP of Sales for the West region and General Manager of the Provo facility. Earlier professional experience encompasses multiple roles at AC Label, Impaxx, Label Express, and Cognitive Solutions, focusing on sales, marketing, and business development. Academically, Derek Sims holds an MBA in Marketing from Westminster University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Colorado State University.
