Bil Simser

Bil Simser possesses over 20 years of extensive experience in IT and enterprise architecture, currently serving as a Senior IT Advisor for FortisAlberta since March 2009, focusing on DevOps Sustainment and Architecture. As an independent consultant, Bil has specialized in designing robust enterprise solutions and SharePoint-based architectures. Additionally, Bil has led SimsTools, a game and application company, as Chief Executive Officer since August 2002, and contributed as a SharePoint MVP at Microsoft from April 2003 to April 2013. Previous roles include Lead Architect at Bantrel, Solution Architect at Canadian Pacific Railway, and Lead Developer at H&R Block Canada Inc., where Bil developed innovative taxation software solutions. Bil is also recognized for co-hosting the Plumbers @ Work podcast for .NET developers.
