Ariel Vergara

Ariel Vergara is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience in various sectors, including health and safety, liquor distribution, and insurance. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Writer at FortisBC since July 2015, Ariel manages the knowledge base for Field Operations and develops procedures for multiple systems such as SAP and SharePoint. Previous roles include creating training standards for WorkSafeBC, reviewing online courses for the BC Liquor Distribution Board, and analyzing business requirements for the Insurance Corporation of BC. Ariel also has considerable experience documenting policies and procedures for organizations like the First Nations Health Authority and Save-On-Foods. Ariel holds a Certificate in Technical Communication from Simon Fraser University and has participated in various workshops and courses to enhance writing and supervisory skills.
