Tarik Terzimehić

Tarik Terzimehić is an experienced researcher and engineer with a strong background in software development for embedded systems and data analysis. Currently serving as a Researcher at fortiss since March 2017, Tarik focuses on developing open basic software for Industry 4.0. Prior to this role, Tarik worked at SILVER ATENA as a Software Engineer for Embedded Systems, where the development of ECU basic software for safety-critical systems was a primary responsibility. Tarik's experience includes a position as an Engineering Consultant at ALTEN Engineering GmbH, with contributions to AUTOSAR standard software modules and firmware for building automation. Tarik also completed a Master's Thesis at Daimler AG, examining data-driven methods for state-of-health estimation in Li-Ion batteries, supported by an internship involving machine learning and battery management systems. Currently, Tarik is pursuing dual Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Informatics at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and Technical University of Munich, respectively, with a solid educational foundation that includes a Master's and Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sarajevo.
