Charles Nevins, CFA, FRM has extensive experience in the financial industry, specializing in risk management and trading operations. Charles is currently serving as the Vice President and Hedging Leader at Fortitude Re since 2022. Prior to this, Charles worked at Milliman for over a decade as a Senior Trader and Risk Manager. Charles'srole involved managing derivative hedging programs for both US and international clients, and providing advisory services on financial risks and hedging strategies. Before joining Milliman, Charles held trading positions at League Corp, Kottke Associates, Bank of America, and R&B Capital, where they gained valuable experience in commodities derivatives, FX options, currency options, and derivatives trading. Charles has a strong track record and expertise in mitigating financial risks and optimizing trading operations.

Charles Nevins, CFA, FRM, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame. Charles also attended Marquette University High School. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2013 and the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in April 2013.
