Hajime Kawafuji

Hajime Kawafuji currently serves as the Chief Representative in Japan for Fortitude Re, a position held since May 2023. In addition, Hajime holds the title of Director at The Carlyle Group, a role embraced since December 2016. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Director and Vice President at Nomura from June 2011 to November 2016, and Associate - Vice President at Nomura International from April 2002 to 2009, where responsibilities involved investment banking and M&A advisory.
