Robert Carickhoff

Robert Carickhoff is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment accounting and sales. As the Senior Vice President and Investment Accounting Controller at Fortitude Re since July 2025, Carickhoff previously held key roles at Clearwater Analytics, serving as Vice President of Investment Accounting and in North America Insurance Sales from April 2019 to July 2025. At TIAA, from August 2010 to March 2019, Carickhoff led a team of 40 in various accounting functions, managing a substantial portfolio across multiple asset classes and spearheading significant reporting initiatives. Prior to TIAA, Carickhoff was a Senior Manager at PwC, overseeing audit teams and managing complex audit engagements. Carickhoff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University in 2000.
