Amber Barger

Amber Barger, EdD, MCC, currently serves as the Senior Director of Global Talent Development & Learning at Fortive, focusing on innovative learning and leadership development strategies. With extensive experience in leadership coaching and organizational development, Barger has been a Leadership Coach and Coach Educator at The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University since 2016, contributing to the enhancement of leadership capacity in higher education. Prior to Fortive, Barger held several senior roles at EY, including Senior Director, Talent and Leader Development, where the emphasis was on maximizing business performance through strategic people initiatives. Additional roles include Learning and Leadership Development Director at City Year, Career Services Project Manager at Northwestern University, and various positions within the Peace Corps and Kiva.org. Barger holds a Doctor of Education from Columbia University and has completed advanced coursework at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
