Michael Fleischer

Michael Fleischer serves as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Labor & Employment and Litigation at Fortive since October 2018, overseeing legal matters for the company's 18 operating entities globally, which employ approximately 18,000 individuals across 50 countries. Fleischer is a co-leader of Fortive's Corporate COVID-19 response team and previously held multiple positions at Seyfarth Shaw LLP from September 2009 to September 2018, including Senior Associate and Managing Associate in Labor & Employment. Early career experience includes roles as a judicial extern and paralegal, with notable positions at the U.S. District Court and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. Fleischer earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
