Amy Wain is an experienced professional in pharmacovigilance and drug safety, currently serving as the Director of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Fortrea since June 2015. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of Director of Patient Safety Solutions at Labcorp Drug Development from September 2017 to October 2022 and served as the Director of Pharmacovigilance at Chiltern between June 2015 and September 2017. Amy's extensive career at PPD spanned from 1999 to 2015, culminating in the role of Associate Director of Pharmacovigilance, where responsibilities included overseeing North America Pharmacovigilance operations and managing a team involved in safety data processes. Amy began the career as a Safety Specialist at PPD. An alumnus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Amy holds a BSN in Nursing, earned between 1989 and 1992.
