Joy C. Winters

Joy C. Winters, MS, is an experienced clinical research professional currently serving as an In-House Clinical Research Associate II at Fortrea since May 2023. Prior to this role, Winters held the same title at Labcorp Drug Development from November 2022 to May 2023 and worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Piedmont Heart Institute, focusing on valve replacements from July 2021 to November 2022. Joy has additional experience at Emory University School of Medicine as a Clinical Research Coordinator II, specializing in cystic fibrosis research in pediatric populations and working with The Hope Clinic of Emory Vaccine Center. Earlier roles include Graduate Lab Instructor and Research Assistant at Georgia State University and positions in various capacities, including Gameday Manager and Substitute Teacher. Joy holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Georgia State University and Georgia Gwinnett College, respectively.
