Matthew Whitehouse

Matthew Whitehouse is an experienced professional in clinical operations and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Site Readiness at Fortrea since January 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Project Director for Start-Up at Labcorp Drug Development, where oversight of Start-up Project Managers was a key responsibility. At IQVIA, Matthew progressed through various roles including Associate Director, Head of Regulatory and Start-Up UK IRE, and was recognized for building a high-performance team that consistently exceeded targets. With a foundation in clinical research and data management from earlier roles at Kendle International, Leeds Clinical Trials Unit, Smith & Nephew, and PAREXEL, Matthew possesses a comprehensive skill set in managing clinical trials and ensuring regulatory compliance. Matthew holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Sheffield Hallam University and a B.A.Sc. in Biology from Nottingham Trent University.
