Marita Walsh

Marita Walsh has a diverse work experience in the supply chain and operations field. Marita has held several leadership roles in various companies. In their current role as Vice President of Supply Chain at Fortress Building Products, they are responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory control, procurement, and global logistics. Marita has also negotiated ocean freight contracts and managed US Customs compliance. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Supply Chain & Global Logistics at the same company, where they were responsible for SIOP, demand planning, inventory planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Before joining Fortress Building Products, Marita worked at Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions as a Supply Chain Improvement Director, where they focused on integrating best practices into manufacturing operations. Marita has also worked as a Consultant in the manufacturing industry, providing services to design new field and file structures for accurate costing. Marita's expertise also includes roles as the Director of SIOP at Esselte, where they managed sales planning and inventory availability, and the Director of Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning at America Pad & Paper (AMPAD), where they effectively managed customer demand planning and lean manufacturing. Marita has also held roles as a JDE System Analyst at SPX Dock Products and as a Director of Production Control and Cost Engineering at Ampad, where they managed inventory policies and the ERP system database.
