Fred Brothers

Fred Brothers has extensive work experience in the financial technology industry. In 2009, they became Founding Investor of First Commons Bank, N.A. in Newton Centre, MA and Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of FIS. In 2015, they founded Uprising Capital, a hands-on social impact investor, and became an Investor and Advisor of Segmint. In 2016, they became Founding Board Chair of Columbus Works, Inc. and in 2017, they became President and CEO of Fortuity Calling and President and CEO of 775 West Broad. In 2021, they became Co-Founder of Uptiq (formerly Cion Digital).

Fred Brothers graduated from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business in 1988 with a BS in Business Administration, having double majored in Finance and Marketing.
