Kalle Aro

Kalle Aro currently serves as a Member of The Supervisory Board at Koitin-Pertunmaan Osuuspankki since August 2023 and holds the position of Development Manager in Energy Solutions for Cities and Industries at Fortum since June 2020, focusing on carbon neutral heating and cooling schemes as well as energy solutions for industrial customers. Aro has also held various roles at Fortum including Development Manager for Projects & LCS, Process Engineering Team Lead, and Chief Process Engineer for Environmental Performance. Prior experience includes positions at Rejlers Finland Oy and ANDRITZ as a Process Engineer and Product Manager, emphasizing thermal modeling, process optimization, and project management related to energy technology. Aro earned a Master of Science in Energy Technology from LUT University in 2008.
