Pasi Aarnio

Pasi Aarnio is a seasoned professional in the construction and civil works sector with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Category Manager for Construction and Civil Works at Fortum since December 2016, Pasi previously held positions including Project Manager for the Tampere Light Railway Project at YIT Rakennus Oy and Global Sourcing Manager at YIT Construction Ltd. Prior to these roles, Pasi has served in various capacities such as Vice President in business development and Director for international activities at Pöyry CM Oy. Pasi's career began as an engineer at Lemminkäinen Construction Ltd, followed by a role as Export Manager at VR-Track. Pasi holds a Master of Science degree in civil construction from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, obtained between 1984 and 1991.
