Patrik Hamberg has a diverse range of work experience that spans from 1999 to present. Patrik began their career with summer internships at Härnösand Energi & Miljö AB and Hälsingland Energi & Miljö Elförsäljning AB. In 2001, they interned at Eon Vattenkraft Sverige AB. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as an Energy Advisor at Energikontoret Halland, where they coordinated energy and climate advice for various organizations and businesses. Patrik then moved on to Svensk Energiförvaltning, where they served as a Sales Account Manager responsible for new sales and existing customers. At Göteborg Energi, they worked as a Sales Manager, responsible for new sales of complex heating systems. From 2007 to 2013, Hamberg worked at Bergen Energi, first as a Member of the Board and then as a Key Account Manager for Northern Europe. Patrik joined Hafslund in 2014 and held positions such as Head of Sales Large Clients Sweden and Head of Sales & Operations. In 2018, they transitioned to Fortum, where they served as Head of Business unit Enterprise customers Sweden and Managing Director/Vice President at Fortum Energy AB. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Sales & Strategic partnership Corporate Customers at Fortum.

Patrik Hamberg has a diverse education history, specializing in power trading and energy markets. Patrik attended Mid Sweden University from 1998 to 2002, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in both electrical engineering and energy markets. In 2009, they pursued further education at NasdaqOMX, Nord Pool Spot & Swedenergy and became a Certified Power Trader, focusing on electricity market, risk management, legislation and rules, clearing, and financial market.
