Tapio Poutiainen

Tapio Poutiainen is an experienced professional in innovation and technology management, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Insights and Innovation Domains at Fortum since February 2018. Poutiainen has led various initiatives within Fortum, including overseeing technology foresight and scouting activities, and managing open innovation efforts. Prior to Fortum, Poutiainen held multiple roles at Spinverse, including Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed project management for EU R&D initiatives and fostering collaborations for sustainable economic growth. Poutiainen's educational background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Energy Technology and Engineering from Aalto University School of Science and Technology.
