Arnd Hovemann

Arnd Hovemann is an experienced financial and sports management professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a member of the board responsible for finance, legal affairs, and human resources at Fortuna Düsseldorf since 2019, Hovemann has also held interim director of finance positions at 1. FSV Mainz 05 e.V. in 2019 and previously directed sports administration at FC Schalke 04 from 2010 to 2018. An early career at EY involved establishing and leading a sports consulting unit, while initial experiences included a trainee role at Deutsche Bank. Academically, Hovemann holds a Diplom in Sportökonomie und Management from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln and a European Master certificate in Sportmanagement from Universitat de Barcelona, along with a degree in banking.
