Paola Ferst, MS, CHES, is currently serving as a Child + Family Therapy Graduate Student Intern and Grant Writer at Forty Carrots Family Center since January 2023. Previous roles include Peer Education Program Manager and Outreach Educator & Community Liaison at Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida from August 2017 to August 2022, as well as Domestic Violence and Child Welfare Advocate at Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC) from September 2016 to August 2017. Earlier experience includes positions as a Human Rights Investigator/Analyst at Fair Food Standards Council, Regional Volunteer Leader, and Community Health Promoter with the Peace Corps, Coordinator of Tobacco Education Programs at the University of Florida - Area Health Education Center (AHEC), Graduate Research Assistant at GatorWell Health Promotion Services, and Program Services Intern at March of Dimes. Paola is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of South Florida, with previous degrees in Health Education and Health Behavior from the University of Florida.
